The project is designed with the intention of merging the comforts of home with a natural life, allowing you to feel part of nature. In Archipilago 9 there is no hurry, no traffic, no noises of the city. Just the sea, the breezes and the song of the birds -- but with easy access to principal cities such as the Port of Progreso or Merida, 10 and 35 minutes away respectively.

A CREATIVE AND SAFE FORM OF CONSTRUCTION
Archipelago 9 uses the palafitte form of construction for two important reasons: to maximize the security of the villas against any event of nature, and to respect and preserve the coastal dune of Yucatan which is listed as in danger of extinction. It is for this reason that our villas are at least 1.5 meters above the sand, although the actual height may vary considering the natural irregularities of the dune.

All work is carried out respecting the plant life natural to the zone, with much of it reforested to reduce environmental impacts and to ensure a harmonious coexistence with nature.
The project was designed by the well known and respected Yucatecan architect Javier Muñoz Menéndez using many elements that are natural to the Peninsula, from the wood and stone found in the region as well as palapas (palm-thatched buildings), typical of the area. The interiors were designed by Architect Ignacio Braga Loret de Mola, with the impeccable taste that is characteristic of his work.
