The architectural design is the work of multi-award winning Yucatecan architect  Javier Muñoz Menéndez, whose projects include, among many others, the Corporate Headquarters of Cemex (2005), the Senate Building (2003), the San Benito Market (2003), the  PGJ Yucatán (2002) and Megamak, Guadalajara (1998).
